Congratulations to the Marquette Golden Eagles on their stellar 2005-06 season. Marquette finished the regular season with a 20-10 mark to earn the #7 seed in their division in this year’s NCAA Tournament.

But that’s all over now. I’ll be thinking of them as I watch Milwaukee’s real home team, the UWM Panthers, face off against Florida in the second round. Actually, I probably won’t be thinking of them at all.

Hey, maybe one of these days Marquette will drop the holier-than-thou attitude and agree to play the Panthers! No? Didn’t think so.
