Nadal vs. Federer

Modern men’s tennis doesn’t get any better than this, folks. Grass court specialist and defending Wimbledon champ Roger Federer takes on his emerging nemesis, clay court magician Rafael Nadal, in tomorrow’s championship showdown. Federer is generally recogized as the best in the biz, but the pesky Spaniard has owned the world’s number one player this year, handing Federer his only four losses - all in finals. Nadal’s success on the grass courts of Wimbledon this year has been rather unexpected, but it’s also been welcome for tennis fans longing for the Federer/Nadal rivalry to take its place alongside the likes of Agassi/Sampras and Connors/Borg.
Great stuff. The King of Clay vs. the King of Grass in a rematch of this year’s French Open.
