No, not the Crystal Scalp thing. We’re talkin’ hometown hero Danica Patrick’s fourth shot at the Indianopolis 500 here. Just over a month after becoming the first woman in history to win an IndyCar event, Patrick heads into tomorrow’s big race as a winning driver who’s finally earned her position as the face of IndyCar. Out of 33 drivers, Patrick starts the 92nd Indianapolis 500 in 5th position, 2nd row. As someone who only watches auto racing twice a year, this is as good as it gets for me.
