Mile High Magic, 2008-style

The Wonderful Wizard of the West pulled yet another rabbit out of his hat this afternoon in Denver. Actually, two rabbits! First, a questionable call early in the game couldn’t be reviewed because, magically, the replay equipment was malfunctioning. But the cherry on top was the final sequence, as Jay Cutler clearly fumbled away the Broncos’ last hope for a comeback - only to have the play negated by an errant whistle from one of the game’s best officials, Ed Hochuli! The all-too-predictable result? Denver wins! Denver wins! Denver wins!
