Why baseball isn’t dead to me
I’m still trembling with excitement following Sunday’s epic instant classic win over the Cubs. For all three of you who might have missed it, the Brewers needed to beat the Cubs and have the Mets lose to the Marlins in order to earn their first playoff spot in 26 years. The Marlins had just taken a 4-2 lead over the Mets out in New York as Ryan Braun stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the eighth with one man on and the score tied back here in Brew City….
This is for you, Bryan. Come on back. You know you want to. We’re all waiting with open arms.
Go Crew!
